NLP stands for Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Neuro refers to your neurology; what goes on in your head. Linguistic refers to language; making sense of all our experiences through our language. Our language can affect the way we experience things. Programming refers to how that neural language functions, controlling the outcome of something. In other words, learning NLP is like learning the language of your own mind.
What is Hypnotherapy? The use of hypnosis and counselling or NLP techniques as a therapeutic technique. It is not stage hypnosis, you as a client are in control all the time. It is a natural relaxed state in which you can make powerful changes in your life, called trance. It is a technique used to access the subconscious. Many obstacles that can limit a person’s experience are deeply embedded in the subconscious.
So by accessing the thought processes, hypnotherapy can help the client to change their thought pattern. This can help to overcome your limitations and achieve the happier life that you deserve and help you to understand and gain control over your behaviour, emotions and physical well-being.
These techniques can be used to help in a number of ways such as weight loss, giving up smoking, fear of flying, difficulty sleeping etc.
NLP/Hypnotherapy can work together or NLP techniques can be used on their own.
